About The Great Green Couch!
Created by needs in my own home, I taught myself, read books and refined my skills on my own furniture and my family and friends. Slowly but surly "The Great Green Couch Company" was born! I love doing furniture slip covers. They are beautiful, functional, and clean! I would love to help you transform your old usable furniture into a beautiful new work of art! Most times it is more cost effective to slipcover your furniture than to purchase new. I am very reasonable and easy to work with! Custom slipcovers are a fabric cover for your upholstered furniture which is a custom fit to your specific furniture piece. Every cushion is separately upholstered and when possible the welting and zippers are reused. When not possible, new welting and zippers are used. Every base is custom fit with zippered closures and personal touches. You may chose any fabric that you like, or you may choose one that we recommend. In most cases, every slipcover is machine washable, making it great for households with pets and children, or allergy and asthma sufferers. You may also chose to have slipcovers made to accommodate different occasions and/or seasons.
Whatever your reason, by re-using your existing furniture and making it Green you are not only saving money in the long run, but you are playing a role in saving our environment.
